And the winner is…
The standard of all the displays at the Oman World Fireworks Championship 2010 was extremely high, but after lengthy deliberation the panel of six judges chose Lacroix-Ruggieri, of France, as the Oman World Fireworks Champion.
In his summary, Andrew Fielder (Chair of Judges) commented, “In a display of great expertise they showed us the modern state of the art in fireworks…they provided a display of precision and impeccable synchronisation to the soundtrack…the judges were impressed that although five displays had preceded the French show, they provided both material and techniques that had not been seen previously.”
So close was the competition that the judges announced a tie for second-place between Vulcan (Hong Kong) and Panzera (Italy).
